Glossary
Naturally derived Fragrance
Made from raw material compounds that are naturally found in nature and unprocessed, such as essence of fruits, leaves, wood, salt, and other botanicals.
Synthetic Fragrance
Made from raw materials that have been synthesised to copy the naturally sourced ingredients if the raw material is endangered or oriniating from animal sources such as musk or ancient trees. We call these Natural Parallel as they are created to imitate the natural ingredient without causing harm.
Essential Oils
Put simply, these are oils from plants. Concentrated plant extracts are gathered by pressing or distilling and retain the natural smell and aromatic benefits of the botanicals they come from. Many perfumes contain plant extracts but the term essential oil is generally used when these oils have some aromatic therapeutic benefit. The essential oils we source are high grade raw materials and bring a quality essence to our fragrance.
